That looks great!

Finally an update! I got my first adjustment on Tuesday afternoon.

It was great to be in the office but they were too efficient: it was over too soon. I didn't get a chance to wait in the waiting room and see the other patients, they took me right back. I was in the second waiting room alone for another minute or two and they took me right back.

I went into a room where my old ligatures were removed and a new set of silver ligs we prepared. The ortho came back. He looked at my teeth and my old X-rays and said I would be moving from a .14 NiTi wire to a .16. He said I was doing so well that it was time to "turn up the heat".

The new wire and ligs were put on and I left. The pain was minor...at first. By the next day it felt like I was punched in the mouth. 3 days out and it has become more of a full pain.

My next adjustment is in 8 weeks on dec. 14th. Updates are on my Instagram. If you want to see more or know anything, ask.

Carrie had her fourth adjustment yesterday. It was nothing earthshaking. They took an x-ray, went to a stronger archwire on the bottom, and left the top wire the same. She chose silver ligs and power chain. The way the ortho talked, it seemed like keeping the power chain was sort of optional, but he recommended keeping it and so she did. She still has the bite stoppers, but they're going to move some brackets at her next appointment, so she may finally be freed of those accursed things in late November. Still no elastics. I have to say that I REALLY like the look of the silver ligs/chain.

I'll be putting a video on YouTube today or tomorrow, so stand by!

Hi !

It Give you a little lips but it is very difficult to articulate and say the words with "S" and "C" in fact all the speech and affected and we hear the sound of the herbst when they slide. And, the twin block makes me drool for me, but maybe it's a matter of habit. It's special to speak with the twin block

I don't think headgear or facemasks will work very well with removable braces as they are not fixed securely enough to the teeth. Headgear etc in real life is generally attached to fixed braces.

Hi Mitechcat

I have the twin block since  one week. i try to use it only when i am alone, i work alone so it s easy but i have very much phone call so it s not easy to speak with the twnin block.
For the moment he longest ove worn it so far is 3 hours, i like to test it 12 hour !
I can not close the mouth and you? and but it makes a lot drool..
i have a headgear and weaing witht he headgear is awesome
I would like to test it with a facebow with bite plate , but no bite plate in Braces shop :-(
For the moment i have never test my braces in public, i think i will try one day

Thank you to share your experience

I've had the twin block for about 2 months now. I think the longest ove worn it so far is 12 hours, unfortunately I don't have a ton of opportunities when I can wear it in public! I enjoy it very much when I can though. How long have you had the twin block and how do you use it?

Hi !

I like the twin block to, the feeling is fantastic.
I like to have the modified elastic activator, or the Elastic Activator with tongue crib with pelottes, but i think i will wait for the moment.
How long you can keep the twin block ?

King regard
