Just sent off my impressions for a twin block
Been waiting to do it for years, but i finally ordered it a few weeks ago, and I requested to have a tongue crib installed aswell, was curious how full it makes the mouth feel.

Yes, sorry I completely forgot.
The appliance is fantastic and leaves very little space for the tongue. Speaking is rather difficult, and eating is nigh-impossible.
I am yet to have it in for particularly long however, only having it on for at maximum about an hour. Hopefully will be trying longer (And possibly in public) soon.
 
They do fit spectacularly well, particularly considering I think I had less-than-perfect impressions. These would be my first of any kind of braces, although I have wanted them for much of my life.
 
Enjoy your twinblock. You will get used to wear it over a longer time soon.
I had to wear twinblocks for several years in my active treatment for about 20 hours a day. In the beginning I hated them, but after a while I missed it when I wasn´t wearing them...
 
The tongue crib will give a lisp.

Does this lisp disappear or will it stay?

Is it a huge lisp?

Do others understand your speech?

It would  be nice to read about your experiences,
