intense nerves/excitement before getting braces (24 hours away!)

How do y'all cope with it?! I've never been this nervously excited for something ever I think. Every time I think about the fact im getting and will have braces tomorrow for the first time ever, a giddy feeling washes over me and my heart feels fluttery and butterflies in my stomach. I could barely sleep last night cause the excitement...hopefully I can get some tonight though. This is definitely only gonna increase tonight and tomorrow morning...dont know how ill handle it.

I can't believe this is happening in 24 hours. I haven't told a soul cause I wanna enjoy the experience all by myself and not have any opinions from anyone influencing my fun. I'll enjoy just casually mentioning my braces to friends after they're on, or just showing up in person with them lol.

Call me crazy but I feel like this is gonna be a life-changing moment. Obviously there's the kink side making this extra exciting, but also just the whole making a decision to do something like this for myself and not caring what people think, and then having to learn to embrace the look and overcome fears.  I was told I needed braces at 13 but was MORTIFIED and absolutely wouldn't have gotten them through middle and high school and after even. I'm just so happy to be in a place where I'm confident enough to just go with it now and see what happens. I plan on rocking them and enjoying the experience!

Feel like this is the best decision ever!! I was having doubts but I'm just so happy now! Saying that I can't wait is an understatement!!!

But these excitement and nerves, man, lol. It's so much anticipation.
 
That sounds really exciting! It's great to hear that you're feeling confident and ready to take on this new experience.

I totally understand what you're feeling! I was so nervous and excited when I first got my braces too. But it's been a great experience so far and I'm really happy with the progress. Just remember to take it easy with the hard and sticky foods, and keep up with good oral hygiene habits.

It's awesome that you're embracing this decision for yourself and not worrying about what others may think. I'm sure you'll look great with your new braces!
It's understandable to feel nervous and excited at the same time. Just remember to take deep breaths and enjoy the process. Best of luck to you!
 
I’ve been following your posts, and I just want to say I’m super excited for you!!

I will say, from my own braces experience, the feeling when they put the first bracket on your tooth and you feel it is out of this world pleasurable. And then when they take off the cheek retractor and then put in the wire, you start to feel the tugging which feels amazing. And then they start putting on each individual ligature you REALLY start to feel the tugging all over your teeth and it is such a turn on.

And then a few hours later, your whole mouth starts to feel a nice soreness and then you realize you can’t do anything about it and that is also a huge turn on. You’re powerless against the braces. Even if you start picking at them they dont move  >:D

Basically, the first week is just amazing all around ;D I’m so excited for you!

Unfortunately I got the date wrong and its next friday. But I'm anticipating it so much still. Reading what you wrote got me even more excited for it (and turned on haha). I can't wait to finally be in the chair, have the retractors in, and start feeling the sensations as the process begins. The tugging of the wires sounds amazing. Can't wait to run my tongue along the brackets for the first time too hehe.

I feel like I'll enjoy the soreness like you said to haha. Just this reminder that I'm all braced up, that this is my reality now, and im powerless against is a big turn on.

Also the whole transformation aspect--just going in and getting these things installed that you can't take off and majorly changes your look for the next year+ , is so exciting.

now to try to be patient another 6 days until I actually get them on :(
 
Well, the nerves are returning again now that I have only two days left before braces (again). It's actually crazy reliving the anticipation from last week again, and counting down haha.

It's going to be sooooo intense for me getting to the last 24 hours and then right before, and during, and after...fuck. I need to get all my real life work/obligations done before then because I will NOT be able to focus around that time lol.

It's just so crazy....I've had this kink for over a decade and now it's about to happen in real life. I guess we are a bit fortunate our kink can happen in real life like this (whether youre into braces yourself or on others). But it was pure fantasy for so long...so I'm going crazy with nerves/excitement at the thought that its REALLY happening. That I'm getting real metal braces installed in two daysish....that three days from now Ill have them on and be posting about them on here. Fuck.

It's insane. Everything's gonna change. I can't wait.
