I Already Look Young, and Getting Braces at 18 Only Made It Worse

I am about to experience the same thing as getting braces on in a month or so.  I get carded still and I'm over 40!  Having a mouth full of metal will only add to that and every time I go out for a drink, I can only imagine the laughs when I get asked for my id.
 
My wife is 36 and just got braces two weeks ago. She doesn't get carded any more than usual, which surprised me.
