So I signed up last night for an online consultation. Sent my photos, etc. this is the closest I have actually been to following thorough with treatment. I really love the metal on woman, but fantase about my own treatment. Really want to go forward with lingual treatment. My question, has anyone ever told there ortho about your deep “interest” in braces?  About 20 years ago my wife did fast braces for 6 months or so and I was too chicken I did the Invisalign route. Never truly satisfied with my lateral inciser rotation or my lower crowding.

Help!? What should I do?

Why lingual? Get the real visible ones, they look great!
I got mine last October, at the age of 54. I did not ever regret my decision and proudly show my silversmile to the world ????

As a 40 something blue collar contractor working in suburban homes, I just can’t do it. I would love them so much but I’m too self conscious to do it. Really struggling with making the consultation appointment. But the website says the they always reserve time for same day braces. My fear is that I will go for the consultation and leave with a wonderful metal smile and regret it a soon as I see family, friends and clients.  :-\

Anyone have any feedback??

Feeling conflicted  :-\

In my case it took weeks, from the first consultation to the big time when the braces came in.
In the meantime I told my family and close friends about. Some of them were wondering, that brackets still exist, in times of invisalign. I explained all of them, that this was no option for me, because I don’t want to swallow all the microplastics that get ground from the splints. So all of them understood my arguments and fully supported my idea.
When I finally presented them my silver shiny smile, I only got comments from cool to sexy.
Sp, don’t worry, go and get them! You will love it! Enjoy the time  ;D
