i have just got braces put on - metal brackets top and bottom, quad helix expander and elastics. Look like such a metal mouth and love it!

The high light was probably the time I spent in elastics to fix my bit 4 elastics on both sides. The low light was the time in headgear.

I'm interested in how long it'll take after I accept the treatment plan in two days until I get my braces. If it's made in-house I'd expect it to happen quite fast similar to your experience. But unfortunately I'm expecting it to be several more dreading weeks :S

I just realized that I haven't picked a color for my braces yet, even though I'll need to decide within the next days. Of course it'll depend on what's available. I'm thinking transparent dark blue, but that may be a bit boring?

Glückwunsch. Hoffe, die Eingewöhnung geht schnell. Bei mir war es weniger der Schmerz als vielmehr die  hohe Empfindlichkeit der Zähne. Eine Woche fühlte sich das putzen so an, als würdest Pressluft gegen den Zahnhals pusten. Aber dann ging es schnell besser und heute merke ich sie gar nicht. Es sei denn, ich komme vom Bogenwechsel oder hab neue Gummiketten drin. ps:  ich habe meine feste auch nur bis zu den 6ern ohne molarenbänder.

und wie läufts an tag1 ?

I just got back from my orthodontist and I am getting braces put on April 6. I had my records today and the Assistant measured me for a headgear. I am looking forward to wearing one also I am getting molar bands and premolar bands because of prior dental work.

Jetzt sind sie drin! 

also "enttäuscht" über eine Verlängerung ist BlueTooth sicher nicht ;-)

Ja das mit dem Biss... zuerst hiess es bei mir: ein Jahr. Mittlerweilen sind es schon 16 Monate. Und es dauert noch. Stell Dich also auf Verlängerung ein - nicht, dass Du dann enttäuscht bist. Viel Erfolg!

Oben und unten, klassische Metallbrackets, aber nur bis zu den 6ern, also keine Molarenbänder. Und, wie gesagt, nur ein gutes halbes Jahr. Bin sehr gespannt!

Ja, es ist tatsächlich eine Korrektur der Frontzähne, also nicht nur just4fun, insbesondere der 2 er lässt sich mit der losen nicht richtig einreihen. Mein Biss stimmt aber, so dass ich die festen Zahnspangen nur 6-9 Monate tragen muss.

ich nehm an nicht nur just4fun sondern der doc hat auch tatsächlich Verbesserungspotenzial festgestellt oder?

Weißt du,  wie lange die feste drin bleiben soll?
