Es war in den Neunzigern, mein erster Computer, ein Modem, das komische Musik machte, wenn es angeschlossen wurde. Lange Sekunden, um sehr kleine Bilder herunterzuladen ... Es gab ein oder zwei pro Woche.

I remember and still have a few of his pictures. He put his wife/girlfriend in full bands with headgear.

I have most of the stories and pictures in TheArchive. The site can also be found using The Wayback Machine.

This lady was perfect with beautiful hair and nice dresses. And she was smiling as if wearing those braces and headgear a piece of cake!

Anyone know what happened to the Silversmiles couple? They just disappeared all of a sudden but that must have been over 20 years ago now.

Same here!

Doing a few searches, it looks like they are not together any more

It might be helpful for someone who remembers it to put the old web address in this thread, so those who don't remember it but would like to know what is being talked about can find it for themselves on the webarchive.

There may well be people here who weren't even born when this website was active!

The web archive can only search for the actual address of some basic additional searches, so it isn't finding anything if you click on the direct link, which has had dereferer added automatically by this site.

Go to web.archive.org, then insert www.silversmiles.com in the search box. You'll need the 2001 entries, as the more modern ones are an unsuspecting orthodontist in Atlanta ????

Similar will work for other sites, if you know the address they were originally online under. Note that it archives web pages, so photos and files are hit and miss, you can't use search boxes, etc.
