I have an acquaintance with what looks like a tiny piece of clear bracket glued on two or three teeth. They are not brackets and just a mm or two square. Are they perhaps part of Invisiline treatment, or to catch a retainer wire? They look like they have some orthodontic purpose, but I can't figure out what. Any ideas? Thank all.

Might be something like this:

Or your acquaintance has to wear elastics for some reason.
Edit: I guess you're right - could be invisalign: https://dereferer.me/?https://dereferer.me/?http://www.flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne?id=420585946&size=o (https://dereferer.me/?https://dereferer.me/?http://www.flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne?id=420585946&size=o)

When I had my headgear I had to wear elastics too. They would often slip down and off the teeth, so the ortho put these tiny little bumps on my two front teeth to keep the elastics in place. Can it be something like that your acquaintance have?
