Title: TMJ with new braces

Hello all, I am new here to the forum. I am trying to find a solution or some sort of relief to the TMJ I am getting now that I have braces. I am 24 years old, and I got braces on August 2018. Ever since then I am uncontrollably grinding my teeth at night to the point my jaw feels locked often. I got a mouth guard from my ortho but it only prevents the teeth from touching but the pressure is still there. Has anyone experienced this during their treatment and have any suggestions?  Thank you! :)

Braces really helped my tmj. I hope you find some releif.
