Braces put on at first appointment?
« on: 02. May 2019, 01:27:13 AM »
Hi.

I'm 38 years old man.
At the next monday, i will get braces

For my treatment, there was no choice to choose other than full metal brackets.
My mouth will therefor be filled with metal.
I got braces on both jaws, at same time.

But, some questions:

This is my first visit. Is it normally to put on the braces on the first visit?

Is there an chance for this?

If someone also will share they're process, and would like to follow me up during this treatment, you are welcome.

I'm bit scared of my own look, with braces. So, if you have some friendly tips, or want give me challenges to help me, then feel free to write to me.

Guess you got used to them by now, so any advice won’t help much now  ;)
However, I remember a girl in my school who got braces surprisingly at the same day she went to the ortho for the first time..  so I guess it’s a thing

My wife consulted with seven orthodontists. One of them offered to put her in braces that same day, though she ended up choosing someone else.
