In order to suggest a young woman is an innocent victim, they introduce her to the jury in thick rimmed glasses and a retainer. As the trial starts she finds it hard to talk with the retainer so removes it and her lawyer pockets it. The total of the two scenes is about 15 seconds of close-up.
