May I ask whether your girl friend, boy friend or spouse has got braces?
Would be kind to elaborate your answer or to tell us something about your opinion concerning this matter
-
I've got no gf at the moment
But 3 of mine have done in the past when I was a few years younger
im lucky really, loved it every time, never got to touch them tho, just got them rubbing against my lips *drool* in total i've kissed 4 different girls with braces. I do know a girl that likes braces, but she's got a BF, so lets say I havnt been able to 'explore' with her but yknow, shit happens, we did talk about her getting hg and retainers and taking some photos tho, and she's HOT!
-
Both myself and my girlfriend are currently wearing fixed braces.
She's had hers for about two and half years. I've had mine for about a year and a half.
-
haha, my present bf has fixed braces. it will be funny when i will get my fixed ones as well :D
-
mine had a retainer
-
I am wearing fixed on the bottom teeth. Currently, my wife is considering going to the ortho, although she basically doesn`t need them.
-
my ex-girlfriend wore gold braces for about ten months
-
i asked my bf he would consider getting braces and theres no way he will.
-
My girl friend had different appliances for about 8 years, but when I met her first time (she was 19) her treatment has been finished.
I guess that's enough for her whole life :-[
-
Fortunately, my wife will go to visit the ortho at two weeks, so probably she`d get something :)))
-
I'll happily get braced if someone foots the bill....

my girlfriend has an openbite and has to have surgery sometime this winter
-
I had a girlfriend wearing a permanent bottom retainer. I loved touching it with my tongue and she loved talking about it. I guess this is called a symbiosis ;-)
-
I went into full fixed braces this month, and am trying to convince my wife that she should get them as well. She's been to the orthodontist office with me, so hopefully it's only a matter of time! Any advice on how to convince her would be appreciated.
-
A partner with braces sounds amazing to me! I wish!
-
I don't have a GF right now - but I've been looking.. I'm determined to find a woman with braces - I love women with braces... I want my own.. I dont' want someone else's woman with braces..
-
my girlfriend wore braces for about 18 months
-
my girlfriend wore braces in junior high.. and now she still wears her retainer and has a fixed retainer on her lowers
-
My wife had braces for 2 years recently. PM me if you want to know more!
-
you can always pray
-
I tried to get my last gf into braces without success.
I would hapily pay for my next gf to get fixed braces, so we can get braced together.
-
Just talked my wife in to getting braces put on! VICTORY! this is going to be great! and she just started wearing glasses last week!
-
Been seeing someone who got done with metal braces a few months ago! If only we had met a couple of years ago...
-
Aw, I don't have a boyfriend. And it's sad that I never got to kiss a boy while with braces (I'm getting them off in two days). I thought boys didn't like braces...
-

That's sad indeed. I'm sure plenty of guys here would've been more than glad to kiss you. ;)
I, myself, have never kissed a girl with braces. That's a pity because I am really curious how it senses.
-
my girlfriend had braces when she was younger.. but her teeth are shifting now.. hopefully she considers getting braces again.. i really hope she does
-
maybe my girlfriend will wear braces. i hope for a removable one.
:D
-
my girlfriend is lookin' at her dentist for a solution for straightening her teeth.
I wish she'll wear fixed braces, but she think for invisalign. She wore braces for 5 years when she was 18, before I meet her
-
My wife wears her pink retainers for me somethimes
-
Never had a GF who had braces – not that I’ve had that many GF’s! (And the current one is probably going to stop being my GF soon and become my wife...)
The opposite was true however, I’ve had three GF’s as an adult while I wore braces. One did not care one way or the other, the other two quite enjoyed them. One of which loved my braces, said they reminded her of some steam-punk sci-fi device, and she said it made kissing that much more interesting, and the other would sometimes use my braces as a “bondage” device when things got interesting. Lost a game of chess against her, my forfeit was to wear my elastics doubled-up for the rest of the weekend. Ouch. (but fun!)
I did also have a “kink play partner” a few years ago that wore braces. Was great fun tying her jaws together using dental floss and then going out for a meal. Yeah, that’s evil – but she loved it.
-
Several years ago I worked with a lovely girl who became my girlfriend. Her only physical flaw was crooked teeth. As I was getting to know her, she started to wear braces on her teeth. At first she only had a hardly noticeable removable brace on her upper teeth but she later had full metal bands on her lower teeth and a more noticeable upper removable brace. It was unusual at that time for an adult to wear braces and I admired her for doing so.
By the time she became my girlfriend, she only had the bottom brace which I could hardly feel when we kissed.
I think I now like braces on women because of this girlfriend, but I never told her that I actually liked her braces.
-
New here......
Girlfriend wears upper and lower hawleys for me, basically whenever I want. We are both in our early 20's and she sometimes wears it out to a bar or out in public with me sometimes.
She knows it turns me on and definitely is there for our intimate times..........
-
my exwife had braces , and my wife had them a decade ago
-
Well My wife is getting braces in about a week and a half! This is like a fantasy come true for me. Best part is that it was her idea and I just helped her along. She has such a sexy mouth now I cant wait until it is that much more sexy. Ceramic on top metal on bottom 2 years! I am in heaven. I have never kissed a girl with braces and I cant wait.
-
I like braces for a few years. I wear them as a kid.
Two years ago i order fake onces (Headgear and retainer.
Next week my girlfriend and i are gonna live together and i wanne tell her about my braces fetish. Have any tips? how did you tell youre giilrfriend?
Sometimes she tells me that she don't like her own teeth that much, then i was thinking get some braces:D But its not that easy.
Hope you guys have some advise or tips.
Thanks!
-
My husband aught to get braces, but he doesn't want to.
I plan to order fake braces as soon as the bracesshop.net people get back to me.
-
My gf is getting braces this september. (I have never had a braced gf before - you can imagine how happy I'm)
At first she was quite skeptical because of her job (she works with public) but I managed to convince her and now she is going to wear fixed braces.
We are thinking about ceramic braces on top and metal one on bottom to try to minimize the "metal look". Of course for me it would be better full metal ;D
I'll let you know when she'll got braces.
bye bye

My gf has been wearing braces since late november last year. I remember the day she got them on, I went to the office with her and waited in the lounge. A few minutes later which seemed quite literally like hours I couldn't stand it anymore and went into the office to take a look. That was one of the most thrilling moments in my life and I lead a genuinely exciting life :)
She's had bottom braces on since June which gave her a funny lisp for the first few hours and she got elastics yesterday with a monkey on the bag. She finds them annoying, says they're like having chewing gum stuck to your teeth but they're not hurting her. She's got metal top and bottom with pink ligatures and seems to like it, but perhaps it's because she knows I love it. I dread the day she'll be getting them off, at least 1 more year to go though. And after that year has passed, I'll just have to convince her that keeping them on for another few months might help with the retention phase... ;)
-
Still some time to wait.... :(
The dentist found 3 small caries on her teeth so they need to be fixed before the braces.
At the end is ceramic both up and bottom. I don't think elastics at least for the moment...... :( :( :(
-
Last cavity has gone and the 9th of december will be THE day ;D
Some news from the dentist: ceramic up and metallic down!
I can't wait till december :-X
bye
-
Wife doesnt wear braces, but she should. Now find the courage to tell her...
-
What about trying to tell that you would love her with a straight smile or that you want to make her a gift (braces)? Or more simply to go to the dentist for the annual check up and try to introduce the possibility to make something to improve her beautiful smile.
When I told that to my girlfriend (I must admit that I was surprised) she was happy about my idea and now she is putting them.
(unfortunately she was supposed to put braces on today but she had to postpone the visit due to work problems :-[ )
-
Ok, I'm in the club now. Upper ceramic braces for the moment (with lot of hooks - hope for elastics) and lower next appointment..... I still don't believe that my dream has become real.
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
My girlfriend who is a dentist, uses braces
-
My girlfriend had to wear a removable brace for her upper jaw. really cute ^^
-
I dated a girl for a few months with ceramic upper and lower. kissing was amazing and the brackets really pushed her lips out. I know that she used elastics but would never wear them in front of me, even though I stayed over many nights a week. I made it clear that I really (!) liked her braces but she still remained sort of embarrassed by them, which was cute but frustrating.
There's two ladies (one mid thirties, one mid forties) wearing metal braces who drink in my local pub, man they look good, both taken however.
-
Just a mid treatment update.... Yesterday my gf went to the ortho for the monthly check and she has a square cross section wire put on (only the upper jaw). Do you think it's normal? I thought square cross section wires were only for the last part of the treatment but I'm sure she is wearing braces at least till december.
Now the "bad" point..unluckily even if she has hooks on braces she has never had to wear elastics :(
Maybe I'll buy one packet just for fun in the future.
Many braced kisses.
Potomo :)

I managed to convince my gf to get braces, she got them a couple of days ago.
-
My wife just agreed to get braces next year. This will be awesome!
-
My girlfriend has fixed uppers and lowers with elastics :)
-
Unfortunately no, but his teeth aren't perfect, kinda crooked.
Maybe there is a chance :)
-
.
-
Today I asked my Wife to be braced during her next pregnancy

My wife is currently wearing braces for the second time (with elastics)!
-
My husband was wearing metal braces when I met him (not as kids or teenagers - we were in our early 20s!) and they were quite honestly the only thing that made me talk to him. We went to college together and he was the ONLY person on the entire campus who still had braces except for a few students who got theirs off a few months into the school year. He had something mysterious in his mouth that made him lisp (I was dying to know what it was) so I was always trying to find an excuse to talk to him and stare at his braces and elastics.
After two years (and three before I met him, so he wore braces for five years in his twenties) he got them off, and I had a very anxious few weeks before they were removed. I was so scared I'd built a whole relationship with someone with braces at the very center, and that when he got them off I'd be stuck with someone I wasn't attracted to anymore. I didn't know what to do. It sounds so silly now, but I was really worried back then!
We've been together for 14 years now so it turned out ok :) He never wears his retainers though. Like, never, ever, ever. Even on my request. And yet somehow... his teeth are perfectly straight. Go figure!

It makes me so glad to read this - my fiancée will be getting her braces off at some point and I have been having exactly these worries. She was told last year (December) that she'd finish in April or May, but we moved house earlier in the year so she hasn't had an appointment in 6 months.
I'm not sure when she'll finish now but I'm sure she'll still be the one for me and my love for her will be just that, not just a love for her braces. Reading what you wrote just backed up that conviction, thanks :)
-
Thelog, I am curious if your fiancee knows how you feel about her braces?
-
Hi Cassandra, yes she knows. She actively uses her braces in her flirting, it's fun and cute. A while back she told me that she too was worried about how I'd feel once her braces were off but I made sure that she knows not to worry about that.
I'll miss her braces when they're gone but I look forward to her getting retainers, plus she's open to the idea of getting fakes :)
-
Thelog, that's great to hear that your fiancee knows how you feel and that she's open to the idea of getting fakes. My wife was worried about how I would feel once her braces come off but I too made sure she knows not to worry (this is her second time with braces). She knows how I feel and is also open to the idea of getting fake appliances after she completes her treatment. The way I look at it is a win-win for both of us!
-
I guess once it's your SO's braces you're so interested in, it isn't something you can really keep a secret, huh? Theology, KidFrost, you're lucky your partners are open to fakes. Mine would never be. His whole braces experience is something he'd prefer to leave behind him. He enjoyed the fact that I liked them, but it's not something we ever talk about anymore. If there are ever fakes involved, I guess they'd have to be fakes for me!
-
You're right -- it's pretty difficult to keep it a secret. At the same time, I enjoy the way braces look on women in general and I know that's why she has worried in the past about how I would feel when the braces come off. This is her second time with them so she is far less worried, if at all. I do consider myself extremely lucky that she is open to the idea of wearing fake appliances just because she knows I like the way it looks.
-
I completely agree that it's an impossible secret to keep from your partner - which is a good thing!
As embarrassing as I found the first time that I told someone, honesty really is the best policy. It seemed like such a big deal but to your partner it's just another aspect of them that you like. Like plaited hair or freckles :)
Cassandra, I'm sure you can talk your man into getting and wearing a retainer! Surely worth a shot ;)
-
Nope, thelog, he has retainers and does not wear them. Not even for me!
-
Thelog, I agree with you that it's a good thing...even a great thing! I'll admit that it was awkward to bring up in conversation but it was very liberating at the same time. Of course, it helped that she was very receptive and understanding -- perhaps even to the point where I still felt awkward and she felt like it was completely normal.
-
At the age of 24, my girl friend wear braces. She looks horrible when smiles.
-
My SO and I were talking about my teeth the other day and he said he wouldn't have tried to date me if my teeth weren't so nice. I was really surprised, because one, his teeth WERENT nice at the time (I mean, they were nice to me, he had metal braces!) and two, I don't really like how my teeth look. They're not symmetrical, and my chin sort of sticks out. It's not something that can be changed, because the un-symmetrical teeth are implants and my bite is correct, so if I wanted to look different it would likely require something like plastic/cosmetic surgery and new crowns, not braces.
But since he brought it up, I told him I wouldn't have tried to date HIM if he hadn't had braces on, and that sometimes I still miss them. This is not something that's a secret between us, but we pretty much NEVER talk about it. And he was pretty surprised that I said that, and his reaction was basically, "really? STILL? You're STILL stuck on that?" Then he mused that he should see if his retainers will still fit, and asked if he should start wearing them to bed when he's in the mood.
I was astonished. But of course I said yes.
So you guys were right. I should've just asked him :)

Cassandra, has your guy lived up to his promise and worn his retainers for you? If he can get into that, surely it's only a few suggestions away from fake braces!
My partner still hasn't had an appointment, it's been nearly 14 months now. She's lucky a bracket hasn't broken off in that time. Her teeth still look great though there's a some small gaps appeared, especially where she had molars removed. I guess the powerchains have lost all their elasticity. She'll have to face up to it and make an appointment soon, the matter of the fact is that there isn't an orthodontist anywhere near where we live! A long journey back to the old ortho I guess, he's probably never had anyone dissappear for so long!
-
Me and my SO are both in active treatment at the time.
-
My wife is currently in metal braces top and bottom, with bite stoppers now and elastics to come.

Mine doesn't, but I think he needs them. I always hope he'll say something every time he goes to the dentist
-
my wife used to wear braces in her teens (before I knew her). she told me she also wore a 'plate' for a while (I haven't probed for further details) as well as headgear at nights. I've asked her a few times about it but the conversation never goes too far - I don't want to push it too far and close off the subject forever!
-
I was very lucky that my wife and I had braces at the same time. over 30 years ago right after we got married we moved to a small town in another State since I had great dental insurance we mad the plunge, my didn't know about my thing for braces at the time. The orthodontist still used full bands which I was a perfect candidate because of my narrow arches and buck teeth. My wife also had full bands too, I was in heaven, I had to wear a headgear for 1year and expanders also. My wife just had to wear elastics. So after 2 years she had hear braces removed and I had mine for 3.5 years. I wore my retainers for 6 months and then lost them when we moved again. 30 years latter I had braces put back on again due my lack of retainer wear, this time I had a headgear again but for 2 years wearing 20+ hours a day and a tongue crib for 7 months. My total in braces my 2nd time was 3.5 years.
-
my wife had braces a year ago - ceramic both upper and lower for about 16 months. now just wear retainer at night. Both of our kids had them when they were younger and I'm getting ready to get them on me
-
My wife had braces as a kid (plus a headgear for most of her treatment) - now her lowers could use some help, and I’ve been encouraging her to look into it. She was very supportive of my adult braces a few years ago, but is less interested in having them herself. I continue to bring it up periodically- maybe she’ll go for it one of these days.
-
My partner had braces until about 13 years ago, bite plate and top and bottom braces. She then had hawleys afterwards, they broke and her dentist made essix retainers. Her teeth have definitely very mildly shifted, in the last 2 years I can hear her grind her teeth and she has broken her 2 crowns twice. I pushed her to go back to her ortho and is scheduled for a consultation in March. I hope she needs braces again but I am afraid it will be Invisalign. I had Invisalign and would not recommend so maybe she will listen. Even if she gets hawleys again I would be happy but I know she maybe put off by the cost of braces again even though I would pay!!

Does she know your interest ? Were you in couple when she had braces ?

I went on a date tonight with a guy who has braces. He hasn't had them on long. They suited him too. Cute and hot.
-
Update on the above. 5 dates in and I'm now dating a guy with braces.
-
My boyfriend has had braces as a teen, fairly simple treatment, but his teeth started to move back. So now he is considering to start a new treatment. Fingers crossed ;D

My wife wears clear retainers at night. I wear Hawley retainers top and bottom at night. I love them!

I'll started treatment yesterday, and have metal braces on both jaws.

My ex boyfriend used to have braces some of the time we dated. I definitely liked them and was sad when he got them off. He also used to have elastics, but I never got to see them /:

Hello you all,
I'm having a bonded hyrax in my upper jaw for 1 month now. After that I will get fixed braces in both my upper and lower jaw with elastic. I noticed that my bf finds it kind of kinky. I don't think that he would do the the whole procedure himself if he had to, but he encourages me. ;)

Lucky guy.

Hi All,
I'm 39 male from Poland, I'm braced for the second time for 3 years now.
20 years ago I dated with a girl but we broke up.
A few weeks ago we met together, she saw my braces. She has very crookcked teeth from a little child and she never afford to have braces.
Now we decided that we want to try to be together one more time.
And I'm in shock!!! She loves my braces...Kissing them...Touching by finger and her tongue. Thats awsome and I still could not believe in it.
She is getting her own braces in the next couple of weeks.
Keep fingers crossed :)
-
I started dating my first girlfriend at the very end of her orthodontic treatment, about a month and a half or so before she got her braces off. I never told her I had a thing for braces, but I secretly wish I could've enjoyed them for a bit longer.
She got a retainer afterwards (that one with a single metal wire across the top teeth) which she had to wear for almost a year. I wasn't into it as much as I had been with proper fixed braces, but I suppose it was better than nothing. She hated it though, so I never mentioned that I thought she looked hotter with it on. Still, it was an interesting experience.
-
I would definitely tell her man. Get fake braces. I know it's kind of awkward but you'll be soo glad you told her. Nothing to be ashamed of having a braces fetish. I've always had a braces fetish and it will never go away. So learn to live with it and embrace it and communicate that interest with your partner. I will be doing the same because I wouldn't be able to have a genuine relationship keeping my interest a secret. I would convince her to get fake braces. Muster up the courage and just tell her and say it all nonchalantly like its no big deal. Just tell her you find her hella cute and hot with braces. Tell her they give her mouth some color and personally look sexy to you. She'll understand. Transparency is key even though you may think it is tough in the very beginning. You'll be glad you were honest with her. You're not weird. Lots of people find braces on their spouses cute and hot so no reason to keep it a secret. Enjoy it! Best of luck!

Well, this was ages ago, back when I was still in high school. Maybe I should've told her, but it was the first relationship I'd ever been on and I was afraid of creating an uncomfortable situation by saying I liked something she hated. I admired her 'hardware' whilst I could, but wasn't too keen on pushing my fetish on her after she was finally done with her treatment. If she hadn't been so vocal about how much she disliked wearing braces, I would probably have at least mentioned it at some point.
-
My wife had braces for about a year, they are gone now. She felt really bad about her smile but she is much happier about it now. She still wears a retainer some nights.
-
Many years ago she had braces when I first met her.
-
Wife has both hawley and invi retainers. She rarely wears them to keep her teeth straight but she does wear them pretty much every time we get frisky!
-
Update on the above. 5 dates in and I'm now dating a guy with braces.
And now we are both in braces and still dating
-
@golf on 20s That's awesome. Did he get them because you had them?
-
He already had them when we met
-
my ex- girlfriend had! it was so cute
-
My wife got metal braces in June. They look so hot. Makes her even hotter. She has to wear them for a little over a year.
She knows about my 'thing' for them, and we have fun with it!
-
I'm currently single and at my age I probably won't have the luck I've had in my younger years. I've dated 3 girls/women with braces in my life. I swear it wasn't that (alone) that drew me to them. The first was just plain cute and was my first love. The other two were young adults who I learned were getting them after we started dating. One of them had a lot of different elastic configurations during her treatment. Sadly, that came after we broke up and we were "just friends." It was torture :'(
-
While it doesn’t meet any of the above criteria. A girl I went out with for 2 years in college just posted a picture of her sporting ceramic braces on top with metal on the bottom. She was such a cutie and is really sporting the one picture I found well
-
I don't have a girlfriend right now.
-
My partner got a night guard but it was to keep the back of the jaws apart during sleep during the period where an implant was healing ready to be crowned. It was the kind of night guard that was just a bulked up Essix retainer. That's about as close as I have come to having a partner with braces.
-
My wife never had braces in her life although she does need them.
Yet that are only minor problems and some crooking.
She told me once that her parents suggested braces when she was 17, but she declined, because braces are not cool in that age and while dating.
From time to time we discussed to Go to the ortho, but she never did. If you are over 18, you have to pay yourself for ortho. Thats one reason, why she never pull the trigger.
My wife is fully aware of my interest in braces. She said, that I can order her fake braces, if I want.
Two weeks ago I surprised her with the dental kit.
Now we are waiting for the arrival of her fake metal braces. The shop already emailed the design of the braces.
I cant wait to see her in braces.
