My favorite color is a clear bright blue, but in a retainer I would love about anything, as long as I can either wear it myself or play around with it on my girlfriend.

I like clear, well polished, shiny plastic without glitter or other opaque ingredients.
Color does not really matter, I like them all, as far as it is not black.

first of all, i have so say sorry about my bad english, i hope you understand what i mean.

now, mainly the color is not decisived, but in here it´s asked for, so... hmm ... i think something plain would be "nice". whether now fiercely or weakly play´s no role. nevertheless, pictures should stay outside please .... and multicolored aren´t my favorite (like a rainbow or somethink else). quite with pleasure seen, but not necessarily liked.

I like bright ones with glitter in them - clear hot pink and purple are my favorites. Oh and I like glow in the dark ones!

I love clear retainers! But I love when the girl has a clear top and bottom one, or a clear top one and a lower bonded one...SO HOT! ^_^

I have a friend from Deutschland she has two clear retainers, she always shows them to me...it's awesome!

I once saw a person with a activator in neon-green transparent color, that looked realy cool, probably the coolest color I've seen.

my dentist didnt ask me waht color that i wanted when he did one for me.. i didnt know i got a choice too..

I like retainers at different colors like green, blue or red. But the red shades like me at the time best. I particularly like the see-through (transparent) Retainer. What are me do not like colorful Retainer that have multiple colors. Even pictures on Retainer I think that is wrong. Because I liked several colors I can tick no concrete answer.

I don't think I could pick a single best of favorite color. I like just about any color with glitter added in whether clear, pink, purple, or even bright fluorescent colors. There are too many choices to pick just one!

I got clear acrylic for my fakes, thinking it would be less obvious for long-term wear. But I like to see bright colors for others.

I also got mine in clear acrylic for the same reason. My bite plate doesn't have a front wire and although the plastic is level with the edge of my teeth, I didn't want it to be too obvious for full time wear.
Also have natural flesh pink Hawleys.

Voted clear red, but there's something to be said for purple as well. Of course, when I got a plate when I was a kid, I was too scared to pick anything other than the normal color.

My first hawley was clear, which I liked until it became discoloured by drinking coffee. So when I ordered a new one, I got transparent pink. I only wear it at night, so coffee is not a problem.

Just found this poll - it's interesting to see all the colours listed like this and I think if I were having to choose it might be quite difficult as the range is overwhelming. If it's about seeing them on others then solid strong colours are best - I like them to be noticeable, and why not celebrate your treatment with a bright eye catching colour?

Dark blue opaque. Much as I love ortho I'm not much a fan of retainers in general. I prefer fixed appliances and a sort of "finality" of getting them removed with nothing to come in their place.

Has to be either totally clear or the translucent pink gum colour for me. Although I also appreciate large bulky appliances in a more obvious solid colour like blue or orange.

I never had a choice. Both previous times they were vermillion opaque from 2 different orthodontists. I’m not sure what I would prefer, discretion with a lisp or flamboyance with a lisp.
