So which sex do you find more attractive wearing braces if you have a preference that is?
-
I don't know, but i like girls with braces, because most of them look like very cute with it (brown long hair and glasses :))
-
I like braces on women, more hardware the better.
-
Definitely women. Men with braces do zero for me.
-
women definitely.
-
100% women!
-
I'll stand up and be the first to say guys.

Likewise

Definitely guys ;D

I very much prefer women with metal brackets and do appreciate the look of ceramic brackets. I miss the days of 'full metal jackets'. I have never had the opportunity of having a woman wear headgear for or around me, but I do like the look of it.
I really like wearing metal brackets, but seeing other guys in braces doesn't have an effect on me beyond understanding that some people like/want/need them.
After reading so many stories before adding them to TheArchive, I can definitely see the appeal for some people.

Makes total sense to me.

100% Women

Women as well.
-
Guys.
I both like them on me, or on other guys.
-
Women are so sexy with braces!
-
Woman with Hawley Retainer are most sexy also Woman with Braces and Elastics
-
I like braces on women. I'm a heterosexual male so it's not attractive for me on guys.
-
I like women with metal braces or Hawley retainers.
-
I like other guys with removable braces / retainers,,,, and enjoy wearing mine as well;-)
-
The only male I like braces on is me!
-
I like braces on a beautiful young lady especially if she has headgear installed. I also very much enjoy wearing headgear and braces myself : )
-
Men obviously! :) Women wearing braces do nothing for me...
-
Both can be cute :-)
-
I like braces on a beautiful lady (around age 30-45)
-
Well I'm gay so... just other guys haha. Preferably aged 18-30, I fall right in the middle.
-
this is a simple question: 100% guys
-
adult men, 30+
-
As andys, I like them both on other guys and on myself
-
Sorry for digging this old post up.
For me this question is a no brainer. It is entirely men. Females do pretty much nothing for me.
-
Don't be sorry. It is an interesting question.
I'm always pleased to see any adult wearing braces but for me the perfect braces wearer is female and the perfect look is shiny metal on both arches. Bonus points for a tongue crib or fixed expander. Extra bonus points for bite blocks that make it impossible to hide the braces and tricky to close the lips over the brackets. Even more bonus points if the beautiful woman with the shiny smile likes men with braces.
Of course if I had a time machine I'd love to go back to the era where everyone had full bands. Imagine the pleasure/terror of sitting in the chair for hours having them installed. Imagine the challenge of trying to kiss your significant other if you both had metal on every available tooth surface.

Imagine the pleasure/terror of sitting in the chair for hours having them installed.
Although I realise it's not directly related either to the topic or to the point you make, I can confirm that "long appointments" were certainly a terrifying prospect. But once one was in the chair, terror was soon replaced by an overwhelming sense of proctalgia.
The cleaning, sizing, biting down on the stick, having each taken off for repeated resizing, adjustment and refitting, recleaning, cementing, biting down, waiting, cleaning excess cement ... and eventually fitting the archwire and tying it all together with wire ligatures.
I've seen pictures of fully banded braces where elastic ligatures are used, but that certainly wasn't an option when mine were done in the mid-70s. There's a picture floating around somewhere of an open mouth with dozens of wires sticking out waiting to be snipped and tucked. That's exactly how my ortho did it. That was also something that took quite a bit of time.
The whole thing went on for hours. In my case, the two arches were done over two appointments, probably because it was all done by the orthodontist himself, and he also needed lunch breaks.
Once fitted (and more on topic in respect of intimacy), I don't think banded braces were any worse than directly bonded brackets except perhaps for two things. One was flossing -- they shredded floss. The other thing was the little cleats on the lingual surfaces that were sometimes used as attachment points. They looked innocuous enough, but they shredded tongues.
Happy days indeed!

My personal preference is for a cute girl to be in braces and I agree the old style headgear and appliances have so much more appeal than modern stuff. Invusalign and similar has no interest to me at all. I would love to be in braces as well but it's just not possible due to other major health issues that I won't bore you with now
-
I like them on both but I think women look a little cuter with braces.
-
On myself and other women ;) would love to have a girlfriend with braces
I like them aesthetically on everyone though, just think metal braces are alluring and attractive but yes women especially
-
100% girls for me. I’d love a cute girlfriend in braces and if I was really lucky some extra appliances too!

Thanks for sharing your experience. I found it very interesting. I can remember a couple of my contemporaries at school having full bands in about 1983/84 but I wasn't particularly interested at the time. In those days my main concern was avoiding the orthodontist by any means possible, although that changed when I got a removable appliance. I suspect they were among the last to be banded before brackets took over.

I've always had more of a thing for guys with braces. They impart this cuteness that kind of breaks the norm. But of course, I love to see them on anyone.
-
I like guys in braces as well! I do feel it makes them stand out more, as in they will catch my eye.
-
Braces on guys! That is where my attraction lies, but there is something about a virile masculine man with orthodontic treatment. It signals a lot of things: care in one's appearance, ability to endure pain/discomfort, discipline in maintaining oral hygiene...
Without fail, some of the best smiles on guys were former metal mouths. Chris Evans, Eric Martsolf, Kevin Hejnas, James Denton, Mark Ruffalo, Prince Harry...

:)
-
do you still wear your braces?
-
sounds amazing
-
For me it's both maybe women edging it slightly. However Ilove either with any kind of braces.
-
Boys under 16 which is my age group
-
Definitely women!
-
Female but also want them myself
-
:) ;)
