I dont like this :-[
-
It's terrible, I hate it. From a practical point of view it can't achieve what traditional fixed braces can, it's frustrating that a lot of people (especially nice women in their 20s and 30s)opt for it.
-
No braces for me.
-
To me invisilign is just plain wrong it has no appeal whatsoever give me full metal braces every time! You can't beat them for pure sexiness especially on a young sexy women
-
No braces for me, too~ >:( >:( >:(
-
I also definitely prefer metal braces to Invisalign. My wife is in metal braces, per my preference, but I do have a couple of female friends who are doing clear aligners. One is a fashion model who would prefer metal braces (she's envious of my wife's), but Invisalign works way better for her modeling career.
-
I don't like it from the fetish point of view, but I've also heard that you can't achieve results as good as with traditional braces, so I definitely don't think it's good
-
I don't like it... I hope it doesn't become too usual
-
Not a fan at all
-
Definitely not a fan...my wife is in metal braces right now and I can't imagine her with Invisalign.
-
I agree with everyone. Invisalign is mundane, boring and there is no interest factor. A mouth full of metal and a head/faces covered with metal and straps is strictly nothing but effective, sexy and fun :)
-
I think invisalign is a good thing of course for the non-fetish braces wearers, but a pity for us, right?
-
I think invisalign is fine and I would have preferred it myself, but the level of correction I needed was too much for the aligners to achieve. I've got a few friends with them and they like they don't have much pain and they don't' have any of the issues braces cause for eating or appearance. but, I do notice that the trays begin to look discolored fairly quick, so they are not as invisible as they probably expected.
-
I don't like it, but it has brought a lot of people into the braces world. Some people end up in braces for part of their treatment.
-
hate it
-
Ruins the effect! and doe sit really do such a good job? Someone I work with tried it and while there was improvement he wasn't ever 100% happy with the results.
-
Nowadays Invisaling achieves the same results as the traditional treatment in 99% of the cases. But in my opinion I can wear It because I know I don't compliance
-
Definitely of no real interest.
I suppose I would like to try some in, but its the mouth full of plastic plate for me!
-
No real interest for me, though I was not a fan of the essix either.
-
The only thing I like about Invisalign is that there might be some people who would normally not opt for braces (because of all the metal) and go in for a consultation thinking they can get Invisalign. Then due to cost, practicality, or other magical reason, it is metal braces after all.
I'm sure this mostly happens in our stories, but I'm sure there's some poor individual out there that regrets their Invisalign consultation. >:D

Not a fan. Cannot see how it properly can align teeth. Looks like a sportsmouthguard, nothing more.
-
I agree. I cant see how they can possibly actually align teeth on their own as they are just a type of retainer. Surely all they can do is keep the teeth to the same position as the impression.
I am quite convinced that they are all about the money. Once there is a plaster mould, the Invisalign must take only seconds to make on a vacuum forming machine. Then they charge a fortune and justify that by selling the 'invisible' thing.
Certainly not for me.
-
It‘s crazy to see how many different practices are offering Invisalign atm, also with solely online treatments. Always wondering if this is really something a lot of people go for.
I want to discuss recent movement and a possible treatment with my dentist at my next appointment, but Invisalign would not be an option for me.
Not sure if I really want an active treatment again, but I would probably prefer the real deal.
-
At my First appointment at the orthodontist, she told me that she could correcte the gaps with invisalign . I asked her of Brackets could be an alternative and she was Really excited. From the view of an orthodontist, she Said, Brackets Are more precise and much better. But Adults normally dont want to have braces, so she was Really surprised, that i asked for it. I guess Unfortunately invalisign will be the Future in orthodontic treatments. Hard Times for the Friends of braces and headgears

I like invisalign wit metal buttons and elastics. And the attachments make them so obvious, people could never see the "invisible" aligners of course. ::)
The adverts never show attachments, just good looking people with perfect teeth an not an aligner in sight.
I would be annoyed if I wanted a clear aligner and ended up with big lumpy attachments everywhere - it just makes your teeth look weird. At least metal or ceramic braces people realise you have braces, instead of just weird looking teeth.
-
its cute. not the best thing for me, but still is nice
-
Its obviously not as noticable as traditional braces so from an interest standpoint its not good, but from a practical sense it seems to be great as a braces alternative.
-
I guess it's not surprising that we are no fans of invisalign here - I'm not either, nor Essix retainers, come to think of it.
I wonder if Invisalign has grown in "popularity" because of the growing number of places offering "cosmetic dentistry" (i.e. not necessarily consultant orthodontists) and thus attracting people to treatment they wouldn't otherwise have considered, even as teenagers, but actually, the good old fashioned "heavy movement" is still done with braces?
-
What do I think of Invisalign? Load of rubbish.
-
Only metal braces are real braces, the more metal the better.
And if really necessary to use plastic appliances they need to be bulky, so that you can at least hear them.
But nothing to see and nothing to hear? Not even worth talking about. ????
-
I don't have anything good to say about invisalign of course mainly because it reduces the number of braces out there for us to view! But if faced with the prospect of wearing it, I think I'd have to choose standard braces as an alternative. I wouldn't want the hassle of keeping track of wearing the aligners, keeping them clean, taking them out to eat, etc. Not to say braces don't have their own hassles, they are just less to think about.
-
You‘re totally right. That is my opinion too and i am happy that i have Chosen real Brackets
-
It's not braces. And if I were to have a treatment rn I'd never consider it bc it's so uncomfortable. I wore it every night for a year after I got my braces off and it was legit so annoying! I'd go for brackets again now.
