I keep wondering why we are seeing so many braced girls from the US and from Brasil - and so few from other countries... Is it so much more cheeper there to have braces? Or do we only miss the best smiles of Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, South Africa, Australia, Germany, New Zealand, Japan, Portugal, England, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Hungary???  :?

The United States probably has more people in braces due to more disposable income and intense pressure to look perfect.

here in spain you normally don't see any people wearing hg in public. I had a classmate who had to wear it @ school when we were 9 or 10 (don't really remember) and everyone laugth @ her.

The number of adults in New Zealand and Australia with braces is increasing.  Most adults I've spoken to at my ortho's offices are happy to be able to afford treatment, but they're not into taking photos and sharing their progress on the web.

I think Canada's healthcare covers part of the cost, not 100% sure though.
