What's your favourite Braces or Retainers
« on: 16. May 2017, 23:51:23 PM »
Thought I'd put this question to everyone.Whats your favourite Braces or Retainers.I think I sway towards Retainers as they are more of a mouthful with the plate and the wires over the teeth  making it more difficult to talk.I think it's very arousing when an adult women partly takes it out of her mouth and you see the large plastic plate.I like Braces as well ,but the Retainers just edge it for me.what do you all think, what's your favourites.

Traditional fixed metal braces top and bottom with elastics. Headgear optional!

I love my wife's fixed braces and I love seeing fixed braces on attractive women. Hawley retainers do have a special something about them, but fixed braces (especially with elastics) are just amazing. A bite plate or expander is just perfection.

Traditional fixed metal brackets with elastics and headgear -- perhaps with a bite plate or expander!

If they have something else besides the brackets, braces; if not, retainers. The most important for me is the lisp

I'd like ceramic upper and lower, but for my braces, I'm having to get metal on both top and bottom

That's awesome! That facemask looks different than the one I have (or have seen before).

Also, to actually answer the question in the thread...fixed braces all the way! While I like the lisp and difficulty that a retainer adds, I like the idea of not being able to remove the braces. Fixed braces + some sort of complex appliance would be heaven!

Also, headgear of course (cervical or combo) :)

It's your typical reverse facemask but with a connected modified facebow, j hooks and a series of head straps all connected to one another which then connect to facemask, facebow and j hooks. Custom setup :)

Hi andys what about if the retainers were fixed would you then prefer them.theres so much more to them, you can still feel the front wires plus the side brackets holding them at the back. Then there's the large plates making a it right mouthful,if you go for top and bottom retainers theres a permanent lisp and feel of acrylic or plastic all the time.So much more then just the feel of steel, lol.
