Wearing headgear while cycling or driving by car?
« on: 29. July 2007, 17:37:24 PM »
How do you manage wearing headgear?

Whether real or fake - do you wear your headgear while riding your bicycle or driving a car? You have to bargain for an accident. In an accident headgear might be dangerous to wear.

In case of fake braces they might be discovered after an accident.

Although some of us might like to show off our headgear in public, you still have to be careful. If it came loose suddenly, it could seriously injure your mouth, face, or eyes. When I was a kid, a friend of mine had to wear headgear, but it was mostly at night. He did go through a period where he had to wear it in the afternoon as well. During this time he was under strict orders to stay in or near the house and to stick to quiet activities- definitely no biking or running around. He did not seem to mind wearing his headgear at night, but he sure did hate having to put it on during the day and then being stuck at the house.
