So, as the title suggests, I decided to start working on an iceberg chart for orthodontic appliances and practices, since there doesn't seem to be one out there yet. Here's a link to what I've got so far: https://dereferer.me/?https://i.imgur.com/I0EHacS.png
I'm interested to hear what you guys think I should add (or remove, or move to another tier), which is why I'm posting it here. The general rules I devised for the tiers are as follows:
- Tier 1: things everyone knows about
- Tier 2: more niche stuff, but still relatively common
- Tier 3: uncommon appliances/practices
- Tier 4: rare appliances/practices
- Tier 5: stuff bordering on the absurd, but that still exist/have existed
- Tier 6: mythical or very rare appliances/practices
- Tier 7: extreme and/or imaginary appliances/practices

I haven't really read that many stories with devices that really stood out to me. Do you have any suggestions?

Love this!! ;D

I like the idea of stories that have unusual or extreme treatments. If enough people would write stories with these things, I would create a category for them in TheArchive.

If anyone finds any stories in TheArchive that they feel need a special category, let me know. TheArchive is a continually growing work in progress. Everyone is welcome to help me make it better.

And sometimes you'll get to see bits of stories before they actually get published....
