They had every imaginable appliance or appliance part as well as the full assortment of orthodontic tools.  There was a fridge as part of the counter and drawer unit beside the examination chair.  She explained that you could get braces or any other appliance installed in your mouth, just like it was real, except with no treatment plan.

@m1090y That is a great idea and would be awesome!

Well, I've managed to write a story around the idea.  I'm posting it in the stories section of the forum under the 'Scenes in an Exhibition' thread (https://www.bracesforum.net/braces-stories-braces-special-(english)/scenes-in-an-exhibition-of-the-decoration-of-the-mouth/) as story 49 in that thread.

A large and open waiting room would be essential.  And lots of time to be spent there before or during appointments to make sure that your braces and other appliances are on full display along with the other patient's!  An open treatment area would be ideal as well.  A long, narrow room with several chairs (maybe 8-10) where you can see and hear what is happening with each patient.

With the new headgear patients always put right at the furthest end from the door ;)

For each chair there are 2 assistents with red uniform and all are near 40 years old and with a perfect smile.
the red uniforms remind me of the movie "dead ringers", does someone know when the now traditional blue ones were introduced?

I'd say a more open layout where you can view what procedures patients are undergoing. Of course there would be some private rooms for some individuals but generally more open.

There would be a bunch of display models of different appliances/braces around and couches to sit in.

Other than that, I don't really know what else.
