Nitom2 Facebow
« on: 12. December 2023, 16:24:15 PM »
Does anyone know where it is possible to buy a Nitom2 facebow?

The two dental wholesalers that stock them in the UK require GDC registration numbers to make a purchase.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Unusually, I've never seen them anywhere other than that couple of UK wholesalers

Good luck!

The last option is to take the longest inner-oral arch and try to bend it yourself.

I order one off ortho care in Oct 2020. I bought a number of items like a mini bliw torch. I didn't input a company number and my order was processed. I got it shipped outside of the UK which may be why they processed it for me.

Thanks for the suggestion, Fuchtel. I'm not sure I have the skill or the proper pliers!

nikeair classicbw - what did you think of it?

I want to try one because I like the locking mechanism idea. I'm not into the wired headgear concept, but I like the idea of it being secured in place and, therefore, probably a little fiddly to remove.

I really enjoy the Nitom2 facebow. I have a few standard facebows, a cushion loop facebow and the locking facebow and the locking  one is by far the best. Once clipped in it won't move. You can easily unclip it in your month and remove it  but it's a nice feeling when its locked. It's easier to use as it never falls out when putting on the straps. I hope you get sorted and can buy one.
