It seems that lip bumpers are not mentioned very often, so I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with one personally, fantasy or real, (or just like them), and their thoughts?

Are there braces fans who like seeing or feeling a lip bumper on others?

For those who have had to use one as part of actual clinical treatment, how did it compare to the rest of your experience? Were there any major downsides, or any advantages over other options? Did it work very well?
