headgear is too big

Recently i ordered a retainer and highpull headgear, the retainer fits perfect but when i want to wear the headgear the retainer always comes loose.
Problem is that the piece of headgear(the straps around my head) is too big. Or my head is too small...
How can i adjust this? Or will it be better with cervical headgear?

The highpull straps come in different sizes. Just order a smaller one. They're easily available on eBay if you can't get one from the Braces Shop.
