This is a tongue-in-cheek rant - simply because I have to bitch and moan somewhere. ;D
The city I live in is currently having a heat wave and a dry spell. Temperatures are reaching 30 degrees Celsius - indoors - with outdoors touching the 40-degree mark. Not a breeze blowing, just this oppressive, dry, dusty heat with no respite. It's so hot, beer evaporates before you get a chance to drink it, and you can make soup with the swimming pool water.
Do you have any idea what headgear in this heat is like? After an hour, it is sopping wet. The cheek pads are clinging to my face like postage stamps. The neck strap has left a tan line, and it basically feels as if I've got a harness made out of hot water squeezing my head.
Nope, this stuff is a winter sport.
There is no way you can wear this thing for any sustainable period in this heat.

I wore mine for 2 years for 24/7, I know the feeling. I had a facebow so I had just the pad on my neck

Try -30/-40C winter with a heavy wind.
You know how if you lick a metal pole in the winter, your tongue sticks to it? Yeah.... :-[
