Have you ever bought braces?

I just recently bought 5 sets of braces off eBay and was just wondering if anyone else has ever done this or even thought of doing it?

Every set I've ever seen on eBay has sold in no time at all. This makes me wonder how easy it would be to get in touch with an ortho and buy ex-braces from them to sell on eBay.

Note: They're a lot smaller than I imagined they'd be - they look bigger on peoples' teeth :P

You're not wrong about them looking bigger. My ortho showed me the brackets i would be getting, i was shocked when i first saw myself fully braced, they were so much bigger than i expected.

I wouldn't buy them off of eBay because I would have no use for them. And if they are used then eew! I wish I kept my braces after they were done. Oh well I will be getting braces again really soon. So  ;D

Ive once bought some ortho parts on ebay, this is quite a while ago. Waste of money really...

Agreed, complete waste of money. They're currently just sitting in a container in my cupboard ::)
