what do the elastics attach to on the braces? does anyone have pics of the attachment?

They can either attach to the elastics hooks on fixed braces, or they can attach to hooks on removable appliences specially placed there for that purpose

The main thing that the elastics from a facemask connect to are the hooks on fixed pallet expanders which is the most used appliance in regards of a facemask based treatment.

The elastics attach to the hooks on the braces (fixed appliance) or attach to an appliance on the roof of the mouth (palate expander)
