Companies like Reddit are trying to keep themselves from becoming porn sites. It makes sense for them to use a heavy hand when they clean up their sites.
As for Discord, they aren't set up for long-term picture storage. They are fine for discussions and chatting, but the pictures get moved up and are hard to find after a while.
So far, DeviantArt hasn't been too brutal with wielding the axe, but that may change.
As for the stories, I am always looking for more to add to TheArchive. Since TheArchive isn't actually a website, I have much better control of what is in it. I have always said it is a place to store the stories before they disappear again. Anyone can send me stories when they write them or if they find any I don't have yet.
