in fact the hi-res trailer shows clearly that she has upper and lower metal braces (very likely real as her teeth are crooked) throughout the entire movie - and being one of the main characters, i think it's probably a very good braces movie (and seems like a pretty funny one, too). i don't know what age/looks has to do with it ... the movie seems to be fun and a main character has braces, hey, can you wish for more?
