Several people have braces. There is a girl who smiles at the lead character in the classroom, showing off her retainer. In one scene, the lead character leaves his retainer by his plate when visiting the girl of his dreams at her house for dinner and then she hands it to him on his dirty plate. Lastly, one of the other guys in the movie wears regular brackets and takes part in several scenes.
