[...]The traffic goes up; the album owner sees high traffic on only one or two pics. The album owner checks the source of the views and sees "bracesforum". That makes some people uncomfortable so they make their album private (by invitation and password only).
So.... the problem is not Webshots -- it's us.
I think, this is only a part of an explanation. Webshots has a lot of problems since they migrated. For example a lot of some albums are public, but you can't go to page 2. But Page 2 ist part of the navigation.
Section "New photos" is empty sine migration. And so on and on...
