Have you ever heard about anyone to wear removable braces or removable parts of braces (e.g. headgear) in the daytime (even during the job) due to problems wearing them while sleeping?

i had a classmate who wore headgear in the school. She didn't have any problems @ night, but her orthodontist told her to wear the appliance the whole day.

Sadly, unless the person liked their removable brace, chances are they would wear it just at nighttime

There was a friend (girl) who wore a retainer some time ago. She wore her retainer only at nighttime, but during the weekend she wore it during the day (mostly at home), because she don't want to be seen in retainer when clubbing around.
Some times she wore it daytime (even outside home) also because her mom bothered her about not wearing it enough, and she has a big lisp because she was not used to talk with the retainer in.

Many years ago, instead, a god friend wore it's removable appliance only at school, because his parents told to the teachers about it. But he always "forgot" to wear it at home during sleep time...

I had problems with my hg at night, I took it off while sleeping, so I ended up wearing a lot at home daytime to make up for lost time. Never outside the house though and never when I had friends over.
