Did you ever see golden brackets?

Please include only braces to be used for real treatment (no templates for advertisement, no pictures or something else to falsifie the poll's result).

If you did, it would be fine to elaborate. When did it occur, how old was the person (child / juvenile or adult?). Could you imagine why the person was wearing the golden braces (e.g. an opulent looking person)?

My ortho offered them and they looked really nice.  He offers stainless, gold and ceramic for the same price and lets you pick to have all of one, or you can mix them up.  I've seen adults and kids in the waiting room with gold brackets and  they look real smart.  Coloured ligs don't appear to go so nice with them though.  I think they look great with gold ligs.

Within the past 15 years, I have observed about a dozen women and one guy that had opted for gold metal braces. All were in somewhere in their early 20's at the time, and the gold made for a unique look.

I find they are quite common here in Canada, not nearly as common as the metal brackets, but still, I see one or two a year at least

[...] in the seventies [...]

In the 70ies? Between 1970 and 1980? It's hard for me to believe, in such early years golden brackets to be used. On the other hand, bionator53 is reliable and thus there is no reason to doubt!
